Sunday at the Giant Game

Bill, Jose, Charlie & Hellen went to the Giant game Sunday october 5th 2008. Giants beat the Seahawks 44 to 6.
WE had a great time. A good friend gave us the tickers and invited us to a great tail gate party. See some of the fun at the tail gate party

Johnny and Leo Visited Uncle Bill

 

Johnny and Leo came to Fort Lauderdale for one week. They really had a good time resting and seeing the sights. Hurricane Fay was here during their visit. So we had several days of rain. Thanks God the Olimpics were on TV all Day and Night.

John, Jose, Boomer, and JT try to golf again this year. JT beat us again and I must say I actually improved. John and Boomer still beat me all to hell.

Gathering at Kelly's Rt 35 NJ

 

John, Jose, Joe, charlie, and John got together for a few drinks at kelly's Rt 35 down the Jersey Shore. We had a great time and reminised about all the old stories at Sealand Service.

Kathy, Karrie, Logan, and Tory visit us in Fort lauderdale

 

Bill's cousing Kathy with one of her daughters Tori came to visit us in Fort Lauderdale July 17, 2008. They came with one of Kathy's best friend Karrie and her daughter Logan. We had a great time with them playing in the pool and sight seeing all the changes in Fort lauderdale that Kathy had missed since she moved away from Broward County. They are in a mini family vacation visiting relatives in the State of Florida.

Bill gave me a party at the Alexander's Guest House in Key West. 21 good friends came and celebrated with me. We had a great meal and many laughs.

This is why La Habana was such a fabulous city. And it is such a crime what Castro has done to it. 1930 right in the middle of the depression Havana looked like Paris. Now it is a ruin. I hope you enjoy the video and send it forward to many of your friends.

Museu of Art | Fort Lauderdale

Here is the Museum of
Fort Lauderdale. Where I am a Docent.
I volunteer my time here about 5 hours per week.
Those are the happiest hours I spent each week.

Summer Lunch Belen Class of 1961

Eddy Fernandez Santalla and I at Casa Paco in Miami. We get together twice a year with some of the members of the graduating class of Colegio de Belen 1961. The group of guys never graduated from the school, because the Revolution took the school from the Jesuit priests and we all had to leave Cuba.

Sean and Lauren came to visit us in Fort Lauderdale. They were going on their Honey moon cruise.

Mona & Viv came to visit

Our friends from Miami came to visit us in Fort Lauderdale. We went to see the Cuban Exhibit at the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale. Afterwards we went to dinner at the Samba Room in Las Olas Blvd. We had great food and lots of laughs. We met this two Cuban bomb shells in Key West last July. We are gong back this July to have more fun.
it was great seeing them again and looking forward to spend more time together in Key West.

Duncan and I at his home in Jamaica

I love my friend Duncan. We worked together for many years. He lives happily in Kingston, Jamaica. I spend 4 days in May 2008 visiting him, going over to Ocho Rios with our friends Beth and Brian. We spend the week end at this great villa of a friend of Beth less than a block to the beach. You can see the pictures of the beach in the album below. Life is different in the Caribbean but it certainly has beauty and elegance. I loved my visit to my friends, and can not wait to reciprocate their hospitality here in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
