Visit Ground for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ

Make Grounds for Sculpture your entrance to the Arts!
In 1987, J. Seward Johnson, Jr. envisioned a public a public sculpture garden and museum where a large and varied body of sculpture could be exhibited. His desire was to make sculpture accessible, to offer the opportunity to people from all backgrounds to become more comfortable with contemporary art, and to provide related educational programs and events at this art center.

The original project site was a vacant lot that was originally part of the New Jersey State Fairgrounds. Renovation started July 1989. Architectural plans and the landscaping designed created by Brian Carey.

This is a wonderful place to visit while in NJ, for $5.00 per person is well worth your time.
